If a person wants to download an Aadhaar card he can avail the facility of Aadhar Card Download by Enrollment ID through the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India, follow the steps given below.
Step 1: First of all, visit the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Use the link www.uidai.gov.in to visit the official website.
Step 2: On the homepage of the official website of UIDAI, the option ‘My Aadhaar’ will appear in the main navigation menu.
Step 3: As soon as you move the cursor over the option ‘My Aadhar,’ a sub-menu will open. Various options related to Aadhar Card will appear in the sub-menu. The option of ‘Get Aadhar’ will also appear in these options.
Step 4: The option of ‘Download Aadhar’ will appear under the ‘Get Aadhar’ option. Click on this link of ‘Download Aadhar.’ for Aadhar Card Download by Enrollment ID.
Step 5: On clicking on this link, you will be redirected to the new page of Aadhar card download.
Step 6: On the new page, under the electronic download copy of your Aadhaar card, three options will appear for downloading the Aadhar card (i) Aadhaar number, (ii) enrollment ID, (iii) Virtual ID, etc.
Step 7: Select the option of Enrollment ID (EID) to download the Aadhar card through the Aadhar number.
Step 8: Enter your 14 digit Enrollment ID number in the Enrollment ID Number (ENO) field below. Example- (1234/1234/1234/12). A calendar will appear on the right side in the column of Enrollment ID. View your 14 digit Calendar Date Timestamp on the Enrollment Slip and fill in the prescribed fields with the help of DNA Flander. Like 23/08/2021 13:20:13.
Step 9: After this, “I want a masked Aadhaar?” Check out the check box of ‘I want a masked Aadhaar’ if you want to get your Aadhar card number in masked digits, i.e., do not want to show all the digits of Unique Identification Digit Number Aadhar Card. Click. If you leave this box unchecked, then the full 12 digits of your Aadhar card will be visible.
Step 10: Fill the given captcha code in the given field and select an option from the button ‘Send OTP’ and “TOTP” at your convenience. TOTP stands here for Temporary One Time Password. The Temporary Password is an 8-digit unique number with a validity of 30 seconds.
Step 11: When the ‘Send OTP’ button is clicked, a one-time password will be received on the mobile number linked to the Aadhar card. Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number in the given field.
Step 12: If you have opted for the TOTP option, enter the given field’s eight-digit Temporary One Time Password. Click on the ‘Verify and Download’ button to verify the One Time Password or Temporary One Time Password and download the Aadhar Card. Your e-Aadhaar card will be downloaded in PDF format when the OTP or Temporary One Time Password is verified.
Step 13: The downloaded e Aadhar Card PDF File is protected by Aadhar Password. Fill in your Aadhar Password to open the PDF File. If you forget your Aadhar Password, you can remove the Aadhar Password from the PDF File. Print out of Aadhar Card Download by Enrollment ID can be taken by opening the download file and using the print option. The printed e-Aadhaar card is valid for use under the Aadhar Card Act.
