eDistrict HP Portal – Districts act as the actual front end for any government, where the government interacts with the citizens through services. Improving this experience, the Himachal Pradesh government has launched the e-district project by enhancing the capacity of various departments at the district level to provide seamless service to the citizens. Edistrict HP is a comprehensive and web-based service portal.
The government is providing online services to the citizens of HP through this portal. Using the e District HP Portal, any citizen can easily avail of various services of the government in a few clicks. HP also provides online verification of various types of certificates issued by various departments by the government through the E-District Portal.
The main objective of starting the e District HP Portal was to do online verification of documents submitted by citizens and link the databases of all government departments with each other. Under this scheme, Front End will be made at the district, tehsil, sub-division, and block-level as citizen facilitation centers. Village level front-ends will be set up through Common Service Centers for delivery of citizen services.

What is the e District HP Login & Registration Process?
It is necessary to register on HP eDistrict Portal to avail of some government services available on the e District HP Portal. You can get the benefit of services only after login into e District HP Portal. If a person wants to register on the portal to get the services available on the HP E District Portal, then follow the steps given below-
- First of all, go to the official website of E District HP Portal. The home page of the official website will open.
- The Citizen Login option will appear under the Citizen Corner section on the home page. Click on the option of Citizen Login. The login page will open.
- If you are already registered on eDistrict HP Portal, then select the link of Registered User. Enter your User ID and Password in the prescribed columns. Fill in the captcha code and click on the submit button.
- If the user-id and password provided by you are correct, then your eDistrict HP login process will be completed, and you will be able to log in to the HP e-District portal.
- If you are a New User, then select Click on the NGuest/New User link. Enter your Name, Mobile No, Email ID in the given column.
- Solve the Captcha Code and fill it in the given column and click on the submit button. A one-time password will be received on your mobile number. Enter the password in the specified column and submit it.

If a person wants to search HP e-District Lok Mitra Kendra through the official website of e District HP Portal, then follow the steps given below-
- First of all, go to the official website of E District HP Portal. The home page of the official website will open.
- The LKM Centers option will appear under the Citizen Corner section on the home page. Click on the option of LKM Centres. The list of Lok Mitra Kendra Operators page will open.
- Select the District, Block, Panchayat, Area (Urban/Rural) from the Drop Down List, where you want to see Lok Mitra Center.
- Click on the submit button. On clicking the submit button, based on the information provided by you, the list of Lok Mitra Kendra Operator will open with mobile number and email id
E District HP Track Application Process
If a person has applied under e-district HP services and now he wants to see his e District HP application status, then follow the steps given below-
- First of all, go to the official website of E District HP Portal. The home page of the official website will open.
- On the home page, the option of Track Application will appear under the Citizen Corner section. Click on the Track Application option. The window of Track Application Online will open.
- Select any one option from Search by Application No or Advance Search. If you have selected Search by Application Number, then select Service Name from the drop-down list.
- Fill the Application Number in the given column and click on the Search button.
- If you have selected the Advanced Search option, select the Service Name from the drop-down list and fill in the columns given as Date of Application, Applicant’s Name, Mobile No.
- Click on the Search button. Your application status will appear on the screen.
- Thus any person can quickly check his eDistrict HP Application Status online.
- Any person can also track his e District HP Application Status through SMS. Type HP <Space>EDIST< Application No> in the message box of your registered mobile number and send it to 166/51969/9223166166.

E District HP Form Download Process
The facility of 56 online forms and 298 grabbable forms has been made available by the Himachal Pradesh government through the Himachal Pradesh Form Repository. Himachal Pradesh Forms Repository is the only source of information about Government Organizations, which facilitates citizens, website entrepreneurs, employees, students to make available application forms to avail government services.
If a person wants to download the application form or other form for any service online through the official website of e District HP, then follow the steps given below-
- First of all, go to the official website of E District HP Portal. The home page of the official website will open.
- The option of Download Forms will appear under the Citizen Corner section in the Left Sidebar of the home page. Click on the option of Download Forms. You will be redirected to the Himachal Pradesh Form Repository System.
- Where options for G2C (Government to Citizen), G2B (Government to Business), G2E (Government to Employee), PSG (Public Service Guarantee) services will appear.
- Along with this, the links of Subsidy, Certificate, Licence, Application, Scholarship, SC,ST,OBC,BPL will also be visible.
- As per your convenience, select the service you want to download the form and click on its link.
- Like you have to download the form for License, then click on the link of Licence. A new window will open with the Form List, from where you choose the form you want to download.
- On clicking on the link of the respective form, the details of Eligibility Criteria, Fee & Payment, Documents required, Submit to, Download will open.
- Click on the link of Fillable PDF to download the HP e-District Form. On clicking the link, the form will appear on the screen in PDF format. Download/Print the form using the option of Download/Print.
How to file an e District HP Complaint?
If any person wants to make an online complaint related to E-district HP-service through the official website of e District HP Portal, then follow the steps given below-
- First of all, go to the official website of E District HP Portal. The home page of the official website will open.
- The option of Feedback / Grievance will appear under the Citizen Corner section in the left sidebar of the home page. Click on the option of Feedback/Grievance.
- On clicking on the Feedback/Grievances link, a new page will open. Select either Feedback or Grievance from the drop-down list.
- Enter your Name, Mobile No, Email ID in the given column and select Service, Problem Type from the drop-down list.
- Type your complaint in the Problem Description Box. After solving the captcha code, fill the result in the prescribed field and click on the submit button.
- Your complaint will be registered on the e District HP Portal. A unique complaint number will be displayed on the screen. Save this number to track complaints.

If a person wants to apply for Income Certificate online through the official website of e District HP Portal, then follow the steps given below-
- First of all, type E-District HP in Google Search Engine and Search. Search List will open. Himachal E District will appear at the top.
- Visit the official website of Himachal e-District Portal. The home page of the official website will open.
- The Citizen Login option will appear under the Citizen Corner section on the home page. Click on the option of Citizen Login. The login page will open.
- If you are already registered on the eDistrict HP Portal, then select the link of Registered User . Otherwise, register by following the steps as mentioned above. Enter your User ID and Password in the prescribed columns. Fill in the captcha code and click on the submit button.
- After login, Dashboard will open. The option of Apply for New Services will appear in the left sidebar in the Dashboard. Click on the link Apply for New Services.
- The list of services will open. Select Income Certificate from the Service List. A new page will open, where the details of Service Description, Supporting Documents, How to Apply, and Application Fee will appear.
- The option of a New Application will also appear. Click on the option of New Application. The Application Form will open. Your Name & Mobile Number will be pre-filled.
- Information sought in the application form such as Applicant Personal Details, Father’s/Mother’s/Husband’s Details, Permanent Address Details.

How to give Feedback on the E-district HP Portal?
If any person wants to give their Feedback regarding the services available on HP E District Portal, then follow the steps given below-
- First of all, go to the official website of the E District Portal. The home page of the official website will open.
- The Feedback option will appear in the navigation menu on the home page. Click on the Feedback link.
- On clicking on the link for Feedback, the Feedback Entry Form will open on the screen. Enter your name, mobile number, email address in the given fields.
- Type your Feedback in the Feedback box. Enter the captcha code in the given field and click on submit button.
- On clicking the submit button, your Feedback will be submitted on the e District HP Portal. A unique number will be generated.
