e-Parivahan Vyavastha Himachal Pradesh

Himachal Pradesh has become the first state in India to implement e-Parivahan Vyavastha. The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Jairam Thakur, launched the “e-Parivahan Vyavastha” of the State Transport Department on 25th February 2021. Himachal Pradesh Transport Department has started an e-transport system from 2 districts of Kangra and Shimla in the state, which has now been extended to ten other state districts.

With the implementation of e-Parivahan Vyavastha in Himachal Pradesh, people of the state will now be able to get a driving license, registration certificate, and other transport-related facilities online. With this system’s introduction, the vehicle owners will also benefit; they will no longer need to make frequent visits to the SDM, RM offices.

On the inauguration of the e-parivahan vyavastha, the Chief Minister said that the e-Legislative Assembly, e-Budget, and e-Cabinet had been started in the state. The E-transport system has been started by increasing this sequence. Introduction of various arrangements, the state has gone from the 16th position to the 7th position in the ease of doing business.

Chief Minister Helpline number 1100 has been started to solve the problems of the people in the state. If any person has any situation and is not getting resolved, he can contact the above CM helpline number. The Chief Minister’s Office will fix the issue of the complainant.

The Chief Minister said that Himachal Pradesh Transport Service had played an essential role in getting thousands of stranded passengers out of the state to return to Himachal Pradesh safely at the time of the Corona epidemic. On this occasion, Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said that the e-transport system scheme is a concrete step towards realizing the Digital India dream of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. State Transport Minister Vikram Singh said that under the e-transport system scheme, two pilot projects were carried out in Shimla and Kangra districts. After rectifying the flaws in these projects, this system has been implemented in the entire state. Himachal Pradesh Transport Corporation has around 1800000 vehicles registered under this scheme.

  • First of all, visit the official website of the HP e-Parivahan Vyavastha portal. The official website home page will open.
  • The option of Public Login will appear on the top right side of the home page. Click on this public login page.
  • When you click on public Login, the login page will open. If you are already registered on the e-transport system portal, fill in your email id and password in the given column. Solve the captcha code and click on the Login button.
  • If you are a new user, click on the link “For New User, Create an Account” given in the login section. The public Registration Form will open, w, w, here to select State, District, TRO from the drop-down list.
  • Fill in your name, email address, mobile number, etc., in the registration form and click on the registration button. OTP Verification Code will be sent to your mobile number.
  • Submit the One Time Password in the given column and submit it. Password will come on your Mail ID, fill it and Reset New Password.
  • You can log in on the e-Parivahan Vyavastha HP Portal by filling in your Mail ID & Password Login section.

  • After Login, the option of Download Grant Letter will appear in the Left Sidebar. Click on the option of Download Grant Letter.

  • First of all, visit the official website of the HP e-Parivahan Vyavastha portal. The official website home page will open.
  • The option of Public Login will appear on the Top Right Side of the Home Page. Click on it and login to the e-Parivahan Vyavastha portal.
  • After Login, the option of Extension Application will appear under Services in the Left Sidebar. Click on the option for Extension Application.
  • Information about the extension application already installed will be displayed. The option to Apply for Extension will appear on the Top Right Side. Click on the Apply for Extension option.
  • A new page will open where from Drop Down List select Contract Carriage Application and select Grant Letter. Grant Letter Issued & Valid Upto information will appear. If your Grant Letter has become Expired, then the information about Grant Letter Expired will also appear.
  • Click on the submit button for payment and complete the payment process. On completion of the payment process, the extension application list will appear with Pending Status.
  • Once your Extension Application Approved by RTO, you can download it by going to the Download Grant Letter page.

  • The option of Public Login will appear on the Top Right Side of the Home Page. Click on it and login to the e-Parivahan Vyavastha portal.
  • After Login, the Sub Menu of Stage Carriage Permit will appear under Services in the Left Sidebar. Click on the option of Stage Carriage Permit.
  • A new page of Stage Carriage Applications will open. Where the link for Apply for Route Permit will appear on the Right Side Top, click on this link.
  • A new page of the Application Form will open, where the application process will be completed in 5 steps. For the application, the applicant must have the following documents.
  1. Aadhaar Card.
  2. Scan Copy of Unemployment Certificate.
  3. Bonafide certificate of Himachal Pradesh.
  4. Ex-Serviceman Certificate.
  5. Co-operative Society Certificate.
  • In the first step, select RTA & Category from the drop-down list and select your Name, Gender, Father Name, H.No. Fill in & Street, Village / Town / City, State, District, Pin-code, Mobile Number, etc. Click on the Save & Continue button. A System Generated Number will be received. Keep it up for future reference.
  • In the second step, select District & RTA from the drop-down list and click on the Get Routes button. Route information will be displayed. Select the route for which you want to obtain a permit. Click on the Save & Continue button.
  • In the third phase, the Existing Stage Carriage & Contract Carriage Permit details, like Permit No, Permit Issue Date, Permit Expired Date, Vehicle Number, etc., should be filled in the column given correctly.
  • Upload the documents required for the application, such as the Aadhaar Card, Scan Copy of Unemployment Certificate, Bonafide Certificate of Himachal Pradesh, Ex Serviceman Certificate, Co-operative Society Certificate, etc. in PDF format. Read the Declaration carefully and check the box. Click on the Save & Continue button.
  • In the fourth step, the information you have filled so far in the application form will open. If you want to see the Application Form, click on the Preview Application button.
  • Before Submit the Application Form, check Preview and correct it; if there is any mistake, click on the Pay & Continue button. Payment Type, select the Bank and click on the Make Payment button to complete the Verification Process.
  • Once the payment is successful, the application number will be generated. Save this number. After this, your application will be sent to the RTO for Scrutiny.

  • In the third step, the information about Route & Passenger should be filled in the given column. Upload the scanned copy of the Token Tax Clearance Certificate and the SRT Clarence Receipt in PDF Format.
  • Read the Declaration carefully and check the box. Click on the Save & Continue button.
  • In the fourth step, the information you have filled so far in the application form will open. If you want to see the Application Form, click on the Preview Application button.

  • In the third step, upload the scanned copy of the Token Tax Clearance Certificate and SRT Clarence Receipt in PDF Format. Read the Declaration carefully and check the box. Click on the Save & Continue button.
  • In the fourth step, the information you have filled so far in the application form will open. Click on the Preview Application button to see the application form.

  • First of all, visit the official website of the HP e-Parivahan Vyavastha portal. The official website home page will open.
  • The option of Public Login will appear on the Top Right Side of the Home Page. Click on it and login to the e-Parivahan Vyavastha portal.
  • After Login, the Sub Menu of Stage Carriage Permit will appear under Services in the Left Sidebar. Click on the option of Stage Carriage Permit.
  • A new page of Stage Carriage Applications will open, where (i) Special Permit (ii) Duplicate Permit (iii) Permit Renewal (iv) Permit Transfer (v) Permit Deposit / Vehicle Replacement / Change in Seating Capacity in the Drop Down List of Select Application Options will appear.

  1. Agreement Documents.
  2. Death certificate.
  3. Succession certificate.
  4. NOC on the death of the permit holder.
  5. Aadhaar Card.
  6. Bonafide Certificate of Himachal Pradesh.
  • In the first step, select RTA from Drop Down List and enter your Name, Gender, Father Name, H.No. Fill in & Street, Village / Town / City, State, District, Pincode, Mobile Number, etc. Click on the Save & Continue button. A System Generated Number will be received.
  • In the second phase, the details of the Permit to be transferred, such as Permit Number, Route / Area, Validity, Permit Holder Name, and Vehicle Details like Engine No., Chassis No. Registration Marks etc. should be filled correctly.
  • Please give details of Transferee like Name of Transferee, Mobile No., Address and Transfer. In case of death of Permit holder, upload death certificate, succession certificate. If necessary, upload the agreement as well. Click on the Save & Continue button.
  • In the third step, choose the Permit Type and fill in the Permit Details. Upload scanned copy of NOC from Financier, Aadhar card, Bonafide certificate of Himachal Pradesh in PDF format. Read the Declaration carefully and check it. Click on the Save & Continue button.
  • In the fourth step, the information you have filled so far in the application form will open. Click on the Preview Application button to see the application form.
  • Click on the Pay & Continue button. Select the payment type and the BankBank; click on the Make Payment button after completing the verification process.
