E Shram Portal – The Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India, has established the e-Shram Portal intending to provide the benefits of government schemes to the unorganized sector workers. The Government of India has started this Portal on 26 August 2021. This Portal has been created for the welfare of workers in the unorganized sector. According to the data of the Government of India, the e Shram Portal will work to connect about 38 crore workers of the unorganized sector with various social security schemes running across the country. What is the e Shram Portal?

The Government of India has launched a portal to create a database of more than 38 crore workers in the unorganized sector, such as construction workers, migrant laborers, street vendors, domestic laborers, agricultural laborers, etc. This Portal launched by the Government of India has been named E Shram Portal. Workers coming to register on this Portal will be issued a 12 digit unit number card by the Government of India, known as E Shram Card. This reason will be valid throughout the year of India. E Shram Card Registration 2021 Online Apply

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has launched the e-Shram Portal scheme for the welfare of workers in the unorganized sector. There is an e Shram portal, which will be operated by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India. Through this Portal, the database of workers associated with the unorganized sector can be tracked and collected. The collected data will create new schemes and generate employment opportunities for the workers and laborers in the unorganized sector.

Workers who register on the e-Shram Portal will be issued a 12-digit Unique Identification Number card by the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Government of India, known as E-Shram Card. If a person wants to register on this Portal, then he can register through CSC Seva Kendra. If the worker wants, he can register online with the help of a mobile number linked with Aadhaar through the official website of the e Shram Portal.

If a laborer associated with the unorganized sector wants to register online on the e Shram portal, follow the steps below.

  • First of all, go to the official website of e Shram Portal. The home page of the official website will open.
  • On the right side of the home page, you will see the link “Register on e-SHRAM.”
  • Click on the link Register on e-SHRAM. By clicking on this link, you will be rejected on a self-registration page of e Shram Portal.
