If an Original Aadhar Card Not Received:- Have you applied for an Aadhar Card? Is the original Aadhar card not received even after 90 days after the Aadhaar application? Reason of Original Aadhar Card not received at home

The Unique Identification Authority of India sends the Aadhaar card to the applicant’s registered address by post within 90 days of Aadhaar card enrollment. If you have applied for an Aadhar card and 90 days have passed since the application, but your Original Aadhar card has not been received till now, then, first of all, you should check that your Aadhar card is ready or not. For this, you have to check the Aadhar card status online or offline mode.

  • In case of Original Aadhar Card Not Received, you can visit your nearest Aadhar Enrollment Center to check Aadhar Card offline. You can check the status of your Aadhar card by giving your Aadhar Enrollment Number to the Aadhar Enrollment Center Executive.

  • By checking the Aadhar card status, you get to know whether your Aadhar card is ready or not. If your Aadhar card has been generated but the status of the Original Aadhar Card not received is still intact, then you can get your Aadhar card through offline or online medium.
  • To get an Aadhar card offline, you need to visit your nearest Aadhar Enrollment Center and meet the Aadhar Executive. Provide your 14 digits with the Aadhaar Enrollment Number to the Aadhar Executive and inform him about the Aadhaar card not being delivered at home. The Aadhar Enrollment Executive will print out your Aadhar Card and give it to you as valid as the original Aadhar card.
  • In the case of the Original Aadhar Card Not Received till now, you can also download your Aadhar card through an online medium by visiting the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India. If your Aadhar card has not been generated even after 90 days, then there can be the following reasons for not making an Aadhar card.

  • You applied for Aadhaar before 1st April 2012
  • UIDAI has rejected your application.

Download Aadhar card through the website.

If your original Aadhar Card is not received by post after applying, you can download an e-Aadhaar card from the UIDAI website. An E-Aadhaar card is a soft copy of the Aadhar card itself. E-Aadhaar card is acceptable at all places as per UIDAI and can be downloaded from the UIDAI website. Follow the steps given below to download an e-Aadhaar online from the official website of UIDAI.

Step 1: In case of original Aadhar Card not received, first go to the UIDAI portal and navigate to the Aadhar Card Download page with the help of navigation.

Step 2: You can use the link https://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/  to go directly to the e-Aadhaar card download page.

Step 3: Select one of the “Aadhaar Number”, “EID Number”, and “VID Number” as per your convenience as per the data available with you to download the Aadhar Card.

Step 4: If you do not have any of these, you have to get the Aadhaar number and Virtual ID number or Enrollment ID number again.

Step 5: Fill in the information related to whichever one you have selected among “Aadhaar Number”, “EID Number”, and “VID Number” in the given column.

Step 6: Check or uncheck the checkbox related to the Mask Aadhar card at your convenience. If you select Mask Aadhar, then only the last four digits of your Aadhar card will appear in place of the Aadhar card number.

Step 7: Enter the given security captcha code in the space provided, and at the end of the section, click on the “Send OTP” button. After this, an OTP (One Time Password) will be received on your registered mobile number and email address.

Step 8: Enter the received OTP in the “Enter OTP” field and click on the “Download Aadhaar” button. Your e-Aadhaar card will be downloaded.

Step 9: The e-Aadhaar card download file will be protected with an Aadhar password. Enter your Aadhar Card Password and submit. The PDF file will be displayed.

Step 10: Your Aadhar card is in PDF format, so make sure that Adobe Reader is available in your system to read the PDF file. Otherwise, you will not be able to open the Aadhar PDF file.

Step 11: You can take a printout of this e-Aadhaar file and use it wherever required. But before using an e-Aadhaar, one must validate its digital signature.

How to keep aadhar on mobile?

If you have applied for your Aadhaar card and your Aadhaar is generated. Still, your original Aadhar card has not received the Aadhaar card, and you can keep it on your mobile with the help of the mAadhaar mobile application. The mAadhaar mobile application links the user’s Aadhaar information such as name, date of birth, gender, residential address, photograph and biometrics. Due to the mAadhaar app, the user does not need to carry the photocopy of the Aadhar card with him at all times.

With the help of this application, not only can you keep your Aadhaar on your mobile, but this app also allows users to easily share their KYC and QR codes with the service provider. Currently, the mAadhaar app is designed only for Android phones, available on Google Play Store. But shortly, this application may also be available for iPhone.

Keep in mind that if you want to download the mAadhaar app from Google Play Store on your Android mobile phone, you will need an Aadhar card number or Aadhar QR code. Aadhar number and QR code are given in the Aadhar card.

How to get Aadhar Card information through SMS?

Suppose your original Aadhar Card not received status is maintained even after 90 days of the Aadhar card application, even after the Aadhar card is generated. In that case, you can get your Aadhar number information through SMS. Follow the steps given below to get Aadhaar through SSS.

Step 1: In case of Original Aadhar Card Not Received, you must first visit the official website of Aadhar Resident Portal.

Step 2: Next, enter the 28-digit enrollment number given in your Aadhaar receipt, your registered mobile number and the captcha code as given in the security code in the prescribed columns.

Step 3: After that, click on the “Send One Time Password” button. OTP will be received on your registered mobile number.

Step 4: Enter the OTP in the space provided and click on the “Submit” button.

Step 5: Once the OTP is verified, you will receive the information related to your Aadhar card through SMS on your mobile phone. In the case of the original Aadhar Card not received, you can know about the status of the Aadhar card by following the above procedure.

How to get an Aadhar Card Offline?

In case of original Aadhar Card not received, for those who are not well versed or comfortable with the technology, Unique Identification Authority of India has provided the facility of getting an Aadhar card from Aadhar Enrollment Center for their convenience.

Get your personal information and biometrics verified. For this, visit your nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center and submit the form to the Aadhaar Enrollment Officer. Once your demographic and biometric data is verified, the Aadhaar card will be sent to your residential address by the Aadhaar Enrollment Center.
