Rajasthan Jan Aadhaar: – The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Ashok Gehlot Ji, has announced the launch of the Rajasthan Jan Aadhaar Card ‘One Number, One Card, One Identity‘ in the state at the time of the revised budget 2019-20.

- All the resident families of the state will be eligible to register and get a JanAadhar Card.
- Each family is issued a JanAadhar Card with a unique 10-digit number.
- For Rajasthan Jan Aadhaar card, only a woman aged 18 years or above, who the family determines, is made the head of the family.
- If there is no woman of 18 years or more in the family, then a man of 21 years or more is made the head of the family.
- If a family does not have a female of 18 years or more and no male of 21 years or more, then the eldest member of that family is made the head of the family.
- Residents of the state have various types of family cards (ration cards, Ayushman cards, etc.). A multi-purpose Rajasthan JanAadhar Card is provided to the family for free.

Determination of eligibility of plan benefits
Under this scheme, all departments’ benefits will be provided by determining the family’s eligibility through Jan Aadhaar Data Repository. If a family has to make any desired change in the eligibility/information recorded, it can make changes in the Jan Aadhaar Data Repository. For this, he will not be required to update the information separately in the scheme concerned.
Use as a living certificate.

Q.1 How can the new registration for JanAadhar Card be done?
Any citizen of the state or an adult member of his family can register for free through the Jan Aadhar portal on his own or at his nearest E Mitra / EMitra Plus Suvidha Kendra. Before registration, check if it is already registered. The information provided by the family and the documents uploaded will be verified. After completing the verification process, a 10-digit Janaadhar Family Number will be issued, sent via SMS to the registered mobile number.

After issuing the Janaadhar Identification Number to any family, its printed JanAadhar Card is sent to the concerned Municipal Body / Panchayat Samiti / e Mitra for distribution. The state government distributes Jan Aadhaar card free of cost to the concerned family through the Municipal Body / Panchayat Samiti as per the procedure laid down from time to time. Registered families can download their JanAadhar Card for free through the Jan Aadhar portal, Jan Aadhar app or SSO ID.
