How to register for the Rehabilitation Council of India?

If you want to register on the Rehabilitation Council of India portal, you can easily do RCI registration by following the steps given below.

Step 1:- First of all, visit the official website of the Rehabilitation Council of India. The home page of the official website will open.

Step 2: On the homepage of the Rehabilitation Council of India, you will see two options: ‘Sign up’ and ‘Create Login.’ If you are already registered on the RCI portal, then click on the link ‘Create Login.’ A new page will open in front of you

 Step 3: Enter your CRR number in the column of entering CRR No, which will be mentioned in your registration certificate.

Step 4: Next, enter your RCI registration date in DD-MM-YYYY format. After that, enter the given captcha code in the designated space and click on the button “GO.”

 Step 5: Click on the GO key button. A new window will open in front of you, where you will see the information to be provided at the time of registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India.

Step 6: Enter your name, mobile number, email id, aadhaar number, etc., in the given column, and generate your password. Re-enter the password in the specified column provided and confirm.

Step 7: After filling in all the information given in the form, click on the ‘OK’ button. A One Time Password will be received on your registered email ID you confirm. You will need your email id and password to log in to this portal in the future, so keep them safe.

RCIRegistration-If you have not already registered on the Rehabilitation Council of India Portal,

Step 1:– First of all, visit the official website of the Rehabilitation Council of India. The home page of the official website will open.

Step 2: On the homepage of the Rehabilitation Council of India, you will see two options, ‘Sign up’ and ‘Create Login.’ If you are not already registered on the Rehabilitation Council of India portal, then select the option of ‘Sign up.

Step 3: You will be edited on the new page. On this page, you will be asked, “are you already registered with the council?” Select Yes or No option as per your convenience.

Step 4: After selecting an option from Yes or No, you will see a new window. If you choose an option No, then the RCIRegistration form will open.

Step 5: Enter your first, middle, and last name as mentioned in your 10th or 12th certificate in the given column. After that, enter your mobile number, email id, and aadhaar number in the shared space. Keep in mind that the mobile number and email id provided by you must be correct, as all updates will be made available on this mobile number and email id.

Step 6: After this, create a password of 8 to 12 characters, containing at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, one numeric digit, and one special character. Confirm the password by re-entering the given column.

Step 7: After that, click on the ‘OK’ button. A Time Password will be received on the mobile number or email ID provided by you. Confirm the one-time password received on your mobile number or email id.

Step 8: Your RCIRegistration Process on the Rehabilitation Council of India will be completed. You can now log in to the RCI portal using your email id and password.

How to Check RCI Registration Status?

If you have applied online for RCI Registration on the Rehabilitation Council of India Portal and now you want to check RCIRegistration Online, follow the steps given below.

  • First of all, go to the official website of the Rehabilitation Council of India Portal. The home page of the official website will open.
  • You will see the link to Track Your Application on the home page. Click on the link to Track Your Application. On clicking this link, a new window will open.

  • Enter your RCIRegistration Number or Application ID in the column of Registration Number/Application ID given on the Check Your Registration Application Status page.
  • Select the purpose of registration from the dropdown list and click on the “Submit” button.
  • Your RCI Registration Application Status will be displayed on your screen when you click on the submit button.

The Ministry of Social and Justice Empowerment, Government of India, has the following objectives behind creating the Rehabilitation Council of India.

  • To control and monitor all training programs relating to the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities.
  • To lay down minimum training and education standards for various categories of professionals imparting education to persons with disabilities.
  • Strict enforcement of standards is set across multiple training institutes to bring about uniformity.
  • To make recommendations to the Ministry for Rehabilitation Professionals regarding recognition of qualifications offered by Universities in India.
  • Entry of persons having recognized rehabilitation qualifications while maintaining the Central Rehabilitation Register.
  • To encourage continuing rehabilitation and education in collaboration with organizations working on disability.
  • Promotion of research in rehabilitation and special education by the Rehabilitation Council of India.

Rehabilitation Council of India Rights of Rehabilitation Professional

All persons registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India are entitled to practice as Rehabilitation Professionals in any part of India. This category also includes all people who have recognized qualifications for rehabilitation and whose names are recorded in the Central Rehabilitation Register. For Rehabilitation Council of India Registration (RCIRegistration), it is necessary to fulfill the following conditions-

  • Persons having recognized rehabilitation qualifications and whose name is registered in the Central Rehabilitation Register.
  • A person possessing a recognized rehabilitative qualification shall hold office in the Government or any institution maintained by any local or other authority or in any such office (by whatever name called).
  • Such a person is eligible to practice as a rehabilitation professional anywhere in India.
  • A document signed or certified by a rehabilitation professional shall be entitled to sign or attest any certificate required by any law.
  • A rehabilitation professional entered in the Central Rehabilitation Register shall be entitled to give any evidence in any court as an expert under section 45 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
  • The rehabilitation professional is also entitled to give any evidence relating to disabilities in any court.

Rehabilitation Council of India Registration Guidelines|RCIRegistration Guidelines

If you want to do RCIRegistration, you should take special care of the following while filling out the RCIregistration form.

  • Candidates should write their name on the application form as per the certificate issued by the RCI-approved Rehabilitation Training Institute.
  • Applicants should submit photocopies of all other educational certificates from High School onwards and the application form, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
  • Attested copies of degree/diploma certificates and mark sheets of professional qualification should be submitted to the candidate.
  • Remember that mere submission of a mark sheet during the RCIRegistration process will not consider selection.
  • Self-declaration form signed by the applicant should be attached along with the application form.
  • The applicant should also attach the reference of three persons along with their address and telephone numbers on a separate A4 size sheet to the application form.
  • If the candidate is an employee, he should attach a certificate from the employer regarding professional experience, knowledge of the field, and character in the rehabilitation of the disabled and attached to the application.
  • The applicant should affix the latest passport size photograph on the application form.
  • In addition, the applicant should attach one additional passport size photograph, duly attested by a gazetted officer.
  • If the applicant has experience in the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities, they should disclose the relevant information in a document.
