Indira Gandhi Widow Pension Yojana

Indira Gandhi Vidhwa Pension Yojana is a Widow Pension Yojana of the Government of India. This scheme is being run under the National Social Assistance Program by the Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. The government of India provides financial assistance to the widowed women of the country through this scheme. Through this scheme, the widow’s pension amount of ₹ 300 is provided every month as financial assistance by the Central Government. The benefits of Indra Gandhi Widow Pension Yojana can be availed by only those widows whose age is more than 40 years and less than 79 years.

If the age of a widow is more than 40 years, she is less than 79 years, and she fulfils other eligibility conditions as prescribed by the government, then she must apply for the benefit of this scheme. BPL card holder women who live below the poverty line can take advantage of this scheme of the Government of India. Vidhwa Pension Scheme Delhi

The Delhi government has started Vidhwa Pension Yojana to help destitute or widowed women in the state. Widow Pension Yojana is a kind of financial help issued for widows to live their lives easier. The Delhi government gives 2500 rupees per month as a widow pension.

The Delhi Government has started the Widow Pension Yojana to give financial security to women. After applying by the widow, the information and documents given by her are verified.   • The benefit of Widow Pension Yojana Delhi will be available to those women who are residents of Delhi and have lived in Delhi for at least five years; the beneficiary will have to provide documents as proof of this.

Uttar Pradesh Vidhwa Pension Scheme

The Uttar Pradesh government has started the Uttar Pradesh Widow Pension to raise the standard of living of the needy widows of their state. In this scheme, those women are included whose husband has died, and no other person is earning in their house and living below the poverty line. An amount of ₹ 300 per month is provided to the widow by the state government as widow pension, which the government directly deposits in her bank account.

The woman’s age receiving the benefit of Vidhwa Pension Yojana UP in the state of Uttar Pradesh should be between 18 years to 60 years. To take advantage of this scheme, the destitute woman must have a bank account because the financial help given by the state government in the form of widow pension is sent directly to the bank account. Through this scheme, the state government wants to ensure that impoverished women can live their lives properly.

Rajasthan Widow Pension Yojana

The Government of Rajasthan has also started Rajasthan Vidhwa Pension Yojana to provide financial assistance to the widowed women of their state. To take advantage of this scheme, the impoverished widow of the state should be more than 18 years of age. Only those women can take advantage of this scheme whose annual family income is less than ₹ 4800. Under the Widow Pension Yojana, different assistance is provided by the Rajasthan government depending on the widow’s age. Not only widowed women but divorced women can also get the benefit from this scheme.

If the age of a woman is more than 18 years and less than 55 years, then ₹ 500 is provided every month by the state government as a pension. If the age of a widow, divorced or abandoned woman is more than 55 years and less than 65 years, then she is given a pension amount of ₹ 750 per month by the state government. 

If the age of a widow is more than 60 years, she is less than 75 years, then the pension amount at the rate of ₹ 1000 per month is paid by the state government to that woman. If the age of a widow is more than 75 years, then a pension amount of 15 rupees per month is provided by the state government in the form of financial assistance.

Maharashtra Widow Pension Yojana

The Government of Maharashtra is also providing Maharashtra Widow Pension Yojana to help widowed women with their state finances. The state government is providing pension amounts at the rate of ₹ 600 per month as financial help. If the widow has more than one child in her family, the state government provides a pension amount of ₹ 900 per month under  Vidhwa Pension Yojana Maharashtra.

If a woman wants to take advantage of this scheme, her annual family income should be less than ₹ 21000. Widows whose family income is more than ₹ 21000 per annum are not eligible for this scheme. The woman’s age should be above 18 years and less than 65 years to take advantage of this scheme.

Not only widowed women but also those abandoned, divorced women can benefit from Maharashtra Government’s Widow Pension Yojana.

  • The option of Apply Online will be available on the new page. This option can be in different ways in the planning portal of different states. After that, click on an apply online option.
  •  As soon as you click on the option of Apply Online, the Registration Form will open on your screen. Fill in all the information or details asked by the concerned department in the registration form correctly.
  •  After filling the registration form, upload the relevant documents and submit the registration form. In this way, your registration will be done in the Widow Pension Yojana.

How to Check Widow Pension Yojana 2021 Application Status?

If a widow has applied for Vidhwa Pension Yojana 2021 and wants to check the status of her application online, then follow the steps given below.

  • First of all, the widow applicant woman should go to the official website of the department related to the scheme of her state, where the home page of the official website will open.
  • To check the status of your application, you have to log in to the DES board; if you already have the password and user ID, then fill them and click on the button of login. You will be successfully logged in to the portal.
  • If you have not already registered, you first have to register on this portal of the scheme.
  • After login, a new page will open where the option of “Know Your Application Status” will appear. Click on this option.
  • Now enter your registration number and account number and select the scheme and fill the captcha code given as security code.
  • Click on the submit button. Based on the information you submit, the status of your application will appear on the screen.
